During your consultation, we will:

  • Review any moles, marks, or skin lesions you are concerned about

  • Examine your skin from head to toe

  • Assess any new, changing, or unusual areas

  • Discuss risk factors such as sun exposure, sunburn history, family history, and skin type

  • Advise on monitoring, next steps, or referral if needed

Our goal is to give you clarity, reassurance, and a clear plan if any follow-up is required.

Why early detection matters.

Checking your skin regularly and seeking medical advice when something changes can make a real difference. Early detection helps identify suspicious lesions sooner and supports timely treatment where needed.

A professional skin check can also help you better understand what to watch for and when to seek further review.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a full body skin check?

A full body skin check includes an assessment of your skin, moles, and any unusual or changing lesions, along with advice on monitoring or follow-up if needed.

Should I book even if I only have one mole I’m worried about?

Yes. If you have noticed any new, changing, or unusual lesion, it is worth getting it checked.

Do I need a skin check if I have no symptoms?

Many patients book for reassurance, especially if they have multiple moles, a history of sun exposure, or a family history of skin cancer.

What happens if something concerning is found?

Your doctor will explain the next steps clearly, which may include monitoring, follow-up, or referral if appropriate.

Is this appointment suitable for routine peace of mind?

Yes. Full body skin checks are appropriate both for specific concerns and for patients who would like reassurance about their skin health.
